Safari
Mara/Nakuru/Mombasa (9-days)
A safari that combines all that Kenya has on
offer. Maasai Mara famous for its Big Cats and the Great Migration, Lake
Nakuru famous for its awesome bird life, then Mombasa’s white sand
beaches. All these will give a taste of Kenya ’s welcoming atmosphere!
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at the Airport where you will be met our Trinity Safaris staff
and chauffeured to a Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:Nairobi/Maasai Mara
The journey to Maasai Mara is amazing in itself as the road from
Nairobi to Maasai passes through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time
for lunch at the Sarova Mara/ Fig tree Camp or Keekorok Lodge before
heading for an afternoon game drive, sighting the huge variety of game
in the park.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Continue the exploration of the wonderful Maasai Mara as you discover
the wildlife found dotted around the savannah. Maasai Mara is one of
the best game reserves in the world and if you are an animal lover, this
is your paradise.
Day 4: Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru
After breakfast leave Maasai Mara and arrive at the Lake Nakuru lodge
in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon watching the wildlife as they
become more active in the cooler temperatures. Lake Nakuru is famous
for its abundance of pink flamingos which in their thousands form a pink
blanket over the water (depending on the season). Its also famous for
its endangered White Rhinos.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru/Nairobi
For bird lovers, Lake Nakuru is not to be missed as the ideal conditions
make it home for hundreds of different species. Return to Nairobi for
dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Nairobi/Mombasa
Take a bus ride to Mombasa and arrive late in the afternoon at the
Sarova Whitesands Hotel. Relax and enjoy the tropical conditions of Mombasa.
Take time to have a dip in one of the pools or swim in the warm crystal
clear Indian Ocean. After the excitement of searching for the game at
the Mara and Nakuru, there is no better way to finish your holiday than
on the beautiful coast; relaxing, deep sea diving, fishing, snorkeling
and also visiting the numerous attractions at the beautiful Kenyan Coast.
Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Mombasa
Have a tour of Mombasa, the new town, and the mystical, old Mombasa
town with its narrow alleys and vibrant bazaars, with a chance to do
some shopping. Return to the hotel for a buffet lunch and a relaxing
afternoon. Enjoy an African Gala dinner at the Hotel with a host of other
exciting activities the Coast people will have on show.
Day 8: Mombasa/Nairobi
Drive back to Nairobi. Overnight at a Nairobi Hotel.
Day 9: Departure
Have a day for shopping or even take a tour of the City or visit
a children’s home. Have Lunch or dinner (depending on departure
flight schedule) at the Carnivore hotel which offers a variety of game
meat.
The cost of USD 1850 per person minimum 4 pax includes your accommodation,
meals, transportation, driver charges and taxes. Part of your proceeds
from your safari will be used to support any education project of your
choice like school fees, building project etc. It will be a safari with
a difference indeed.
Booking must be done at least 3 months in advance but the earlier the
better. Special cases shall be considered. Tips and souvenirs costs are
not included!
