6 Days Flying Samburu/Mara

This Safari has been designed to make the most of your time in Kenya. The flights between the reserves reduces the time spent travelling and gives you a birdseye view of the wildlife and nature below. This Safari takes you to the world famous Samburu game reserve where a lioness adopted a baby oryx against the laws of nature. The Samburu game park is also home to many rare animals as there are few that can survive in the drought areas. The Maasai Mara is especially famed for the Maasai tribe who live amongst the wildlife as they share land with lions, elephants, giraffes, rhino, buffaloes and all the other game that live freely on the land.

Day 1 : Nairobi - Arrive at the Nairobi international airport (JKIA) and transfer to Panafric Hotel.

Day 2 : Nairobi/Samburu - After breakfast transfer to the Wilson Airport for the flight to Samburu (Approx. 1hr 15mins). Arrive at one of Samburu's luxury lodges in time for lunch before an afternoon game drive exploring the wonderful Samburu park.

Day 3 : Samburu - The Samburu park is home to a great variety of different animals such as the unusual reticulated giraffe, gravy's zebra, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and blue shanked Somali ostrich.

Day 4 : Samburu/Maasai Mara - An early morning breakfast fly on to the Maasai Mara (approx. 1hr 40mins) where you have a sky view of the park as you come in to land. After lunch at Mara Sarova/ Mara Serena/ Fig Tree Camp take a game drive in search of the 'Big Five'.

Day 5 :
Maasai Mara
- Maasai Mara is renowned for its high concentration of animals and being over 1500sq km of open grassland it attracts a great variety of astounding wildlife.

Day 6 : Maasai Mara/Nairobi -Take a final early morning game drive before the transfer to the airstrip to catch your homeward bound flight from Nairobi

The cost from USD 1850 per person includes you 1 night accommodation on full board, 2 game drives, return airstrip transfers, driver charges and taxes but DOES NOT include park fees which is USD 40 per person per day. It will be a safari with a difference indeed.

Booking must be done at least 3 months in advance but the earlier the better. Special cases shall be considered. Tips and souvenirs costs are not included!
