TTS 202 Aberdares/ Samburu/ Mt Kenya (5 days)

Day 1: Nairobi - The Aberdare Ranges
Morning drive through Kikuyu farmlands, to arrive at the base hotel. Note only an overnight bag is required at the tree hotel. The rest of the baggage will be stored at the base hotel. After lunch at the base hotel, drive to dense forest of The Aberdare Ranges to your tree hotel for game watching and overnight.

Day 2: The Aberdare Ranges - Samburu
Continue north across the equator to the Semi-desert region of Samburu, arriving at your lodge for lunch. Drive along the Uaso Nyiro River in search of crocodile, leopard and resident wildlife. Overnight at lodge.

Day 3: Samburu - Sarova Shaba
Full Day game viewing along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. The river's permanent waters abound with crocodile and hippo and attract plenty of wildlife including the peculiar Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the comical Somali Ostrich, unique to these northern parts. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Samburu - Mt. Kenya Country Club.
From the hot and arid lowlands of Samburu climb to the cool slopes of Mt Kenya to spend the night. Enjoy many facilities and scenic beauty.

Day 5: Mt. Kenya - Nairobi
After breakfast for Nairobi, arriving before lunch

The cost is from USD 1250 per person for a minimum of four people, includes your full board accommodation, two game drives per day, transportation, driver charges and taxes. Park entrance fees are also inclusive.

Booking must be done at least 3 months in advance but the earlier the better. Special cases shall be considered. Tips and souvenirs costs are not included!
