TTS 201 MARA NAKURU
4 Days Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru

Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru have a wonderful variety of wildlife from the huge graceful elephants in Masai Mara to the small unusual birds around Lake Nakuru.

Masai Mara is an opportunity to see the 'Big Five' in their entire splendor while Lake Nakuru is a great attraction for birds and a NOT TO BE MISSED for bird lovers. The terrain in these 2 parks is a great contrast. Masai Mara has vast flat plains whilst Nakuru has a lake surrounded by forest and rocky cliffs. During some times of the year the lake is covered by a blanket of pink flamingoes.

Day 1:
Nairobi - Masai Mara
- As you travel out towards the Masai Mara, the scenery will astound you. The views from above the Great Rift Valley are breathtaking and the journey itself will be unforgettable. After a game drive in the early evening, return to the Masai Mara Sarova Lodge / Mara Serena / Fig Tree Camp to stay overnight.

Day 2:
Masai Mara
- An early morning or early evening game drive is a wonderful opportunity to see the animals being more active. The cooler temperatures at these times are more preferable for hunting than during mid-Day when the heat can be too much.

Day 3:
Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
- Head towards Lake Nakuru where you will have a good chance to see rhino as there are more here than in the Masai Mara. Spend the evening in the Lake Nakuru lodge / Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4:
Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
- Take an early morning game drive before heading back to Nairobi. The lake also attracts many other animals such as waterbuck, buffalo, gazelle, reedbuck and the amusing warthogs that run with their tails poking into the air.

The cost is from USD 780 per person for a minimum of four people, includes your full board accommodation, two game drives per day, transportation, driver charges and taxes. Park entrance fees are also inclusive.

Booking must be done at least 3 months in advance but the earlier the better. Special cases shall be considered. Tips and souvenirs costs are not included!?
